It was a driving lesson gone wrong Saturday night.
Bay Village police said a woman was learning how to drive on Dover Center Road. That's when the car went off a cliff and into the water at Cahoon Park. Her mother was teaching her.

During the lesson, at around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, the 23-year-old was backing out of the parking spot, had a moment of panic and kept her foot on the gas.
The car landed on its roof at the bottom of the 54-foot drop. Crews cut down trees and branches to get to the vehicle.
The driver was taken to the hospital with head injuries and bruising.
Police did not issue any citations.
