Prizes for the Mid Somerset Prom King and Queen competition announced

As well as a framed photograph of their winning proms picture, each will receive a voucher for a Young Driver lesson and two party packs of Shloer non-alcoholic bubbly.
Young Driver offers driving tuition to 11 to 17-year-olds – up to six years before they can legally take to the road. The lessons take place behind the wheel of a dual-controlled Skoda Citigo car and a whole road system is created to help the drivers learn everything from changing gears to manoeuvring a slalom. Lessons mirror those taken on the road at 17, but give young people the chance to take their time without any pressure to pass a test. Young Driver is the UK's largest provider of pre-17 driving lessons and has 35 venues across Britain. It's about having fun, but it's also helping young people become safer drivers.
The winners will each receive a 30-minute lesson at a Young Driver venue of their choosing. Driving tuition is available for youngsters with disabilities, including specially adapted vehicles at some venues.
Each of the two winners will also receive two party-packs of Shloer Celebration, a sparkling alcohol-free alternative to bubbly, which has a popping cork so feels a bit more special for occasions like prom. The Celebration range comes in two flavours – White Bubbly and Pink Fizz – which are both perfect for getting any party started with a sparkle. Our winners will be able to toast their success by sipping on a tall glass of chilled bubbles. Serve in a bucket with plenty of ice, then pop the cork and pour. Shloer contains no preservatives, artificial colours, sweeteners or flavourings.
